The Junk Chick~

Old silver plated teapot ~ I just didn't know what to do with it.  It came to me that it would look smashing with a new fun color.  So now she is Pretty in Pink!

The Junk Chick

Here is one of my all time favorites:)  It is an old floor lamp, I love 'em!  I added a basket at the top, and then decided that it needed a little extra "something" so with a little help from the "Mr." (The poor guy is just usually minding his own business and then he hears me asking for a little help..he is always there and doesn't usually complain:) We put a basket in the middle...and I love this so much it has a permanent home here:)

The Junk Chick

Well, today I finished the footboard....every little head board...deserves a little foot board! Thanks to my daughter Lindsay for helping me with the decisions:)

The Junk Chick

Well, I have a lot of interests. I think that creative people just have a form of ADD..or maybe it is CDD (Creative Deficit Disorder)  We just can't help ourselves.  My repurposing business "The Junk Chick"  That's me:) Is just another way to have the most fun making thing out of Junk from the Cheep seats:) (get it?) Chick....Cheep seats? But I digress!

We have been working on this for a few days (my husband was actually enjoying this:) and finally it is ready to find a home.  I love the Green Apple Paint and the old chair back that we used for the legs..kind of angled...and of course that glorious Glass knob:)

So here it is!  I love it.

Proverbs 31:25

This is a sign that I made to remind me that my strength comes from The Lord.  He is there for me every day!

Repurposed Door Plate and Knob

Every little birdhouse should have a locking door....and a key!

I made this as a present for a friend for her birthday.  Using old tin from my barn roof, and door plate and knob and key from ...well... the most fun place ever....a flea market!
